Kraken Parent Payward Links With Singapore Gulf Bank for Round-the-Clock Settlement
Payward integrates SGB Net to offer institutional clients in Asia and the Gulf instant digital asset settlement at any hour.
Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, has formed a partnership with Singapore Gulf Bank (SGB) that brings 24-hour, seven-day-a-week settlement capabilities to institutional digital asset markets across Asia and the Gulf region, the companies announced October 4, 2026.

The partnership underscores a wider industry push to close the gap between crypto-native settlement speeds and the slower rails that institutions have historically relied upon. By anchoring real-time clearing to a licensed bank operating across two of the world's fastest-growing digital asset corridors — Southeast Asia and the Arabian Gulf — both firms are positioning themselves ahead of anticipated regulatory frameworks in those markets.
